To fix this, if you are running Windows 7 or above, before clicking “Unzip” on my installer utility, click “Browse” first, choose the correct directory where the e-sword program is (the one with the “(x86)” in it) and then unzip it. Unfortunately your e-sword program under Windows 7 is in “C:\Program Files (x86)\e-sword” and so the module won’t work. My installer program puts the downloaded modules into “C:\Program Files\e-sword”. Windows 7 and other new Windows operating systems create a directory called “Program Files (x86)” instead of the usual “Program Files” directory.

If you have an older version of E-sword, you can upgrade to the latest version at the main E-sword website. The modules on this page will work with E-sword version 9.0 and above.
